Hoping to inspire others to lend a hand, two donors and two aviation companies from Western Massachusetts confirmed their role today in flights that ferried Haitian children to medical care in Massachusetts and medical teams to and from the country rocked by last month’s earthquake. Michael Kittredge, founder of Yankee Candle Co. in South Deerfield, and his wife, Lisa, told Epic Jet in Lenox that they wanted to provide the flights as a way to help relief efforts in Haiti, according to Bill Weibrecht, president of Epic Jet. The Kittredges are his customers.
