Hurricane Preparations at Hôpital Sacré-Coeur

In advance of Hurricane Irma, the staff at Hôpital Sacré-Coeur worked tirelessly to safeguard the patients and the hospital. The most vulnerable of the patients were moved to a windowless and secure room in the sturdy Surgery Suites building. Windows were boarded up, items that could potentially be sent airborne were tied down, drains cleared, and equipment and supplies moved to secure locations within the hospital complex.

Prep 1Preparations were extensive and thorough. Food was also distributed to those in need in the Milot community.
