Doug Rendleman, a partner at A. J. Brown Incorporated of Chesterfield, MO, was the lead volunteer responsible for designing and constructing our General Services building. This project was the first phase in the effort to build a program that would provide solid maintenance of the greater hospital facilities. For many years, the men who labored to keep the buildings and grounds functioning had to work out of a ten foot by twelve foot room at the rear of the hospital. With Doug’s generosity and determination, we were able to raise the funds and complete our 2,500 square foot, two story work place. As an aside, Doug employed over thirteen men from Milot for the week he was here erecting the steel structure you see in the background.
