Donating is easy! Three short steps on the widget on the left.

1. Choose the cryptocurrency you want to donate by clicking on Bitcoin, Ethereum or a crypto shown in the “Other Crypto Options” dropdown menu. Over 70 options available now and more are being added.

Please only send currencies listed on the widget, do not send unsupported currencies including unsupported ERC-20s, ERC-721s and BEP20s, layer 2, wrapped tokens, and NFTs as these may be lost.

b. Click “Continue” shown at the bottom of the screen.

2. Elect to donate anonymously or fill out your contact information.

If you’d like to receive a tax receipt, you must enter your email address when prompted on the third/next screen page. A tax receipt will only be sent once you’ve entered your email address.

3. On the next/third screen you will receive a unique wallet address. This address can be used repeatedly without having to re-enter any information on our page. Scan with phone if using mobile or copy/paste if on desktop.

Your cryptocurrency donation is converted to US dollars in real time (usually less than 10 minutes) and deposited into the Haiti Health Promise/CRUDEM Foundation account.

What are some benefits of donating cryptocurrency?
The IRS classifies cryptocurrencies as property, so cryptocurrency donations to 501c3 charities receive the same tax treatment as stocks. Donors do not owe capital gains tax on the appreciated crypto that is donated and can typically deduct the fair market value of the donation on their taxes.
