O’Fallon, Missouri nurse tries to inspire Haitians with her story

KSDK — Denise Hoffman wasn’t sure what to expect when she arrived in Haiti. After watching the suffering of earthquake victims on the news, the O’Fallon, Missouri nurse knew she couldn’t stay home.
“I looked at my husband and said, ‘You know I have to go, right?'” Hoffman says.
Specializing in pediatrics, Hoffman found the children’s ward right away. And right away patients and parents discovered there was something different about Denise.
