Hospital Completes Warehouse Project
“The earthquake recovery work taught us all a very valuable lesson; hospitals will not function unless supplies are in place when and where they are needed,” noted CRUDEM President, Peter J. Kelly, MD.
Tom Harmening of Florida answered the plea for storage space and introduced James McGarry, of Florida Exposition Services, Inc, to the hospital. McGarry then stunned everyone with the donation of a 60’x100’, 6,000 SF Sprung storage building. Through the efforts of HSC General Service department and volunteers, the Sprung building went up in record time!
Five interconnected and outfitted steel 40 ft long containers rim the building and provide additional secure, climate controlled storage facilities.
